About Spray Tester
The GLOBE Spray Tester consists of an inclined acrylic plane for placing the test specimen on and a standard brass spray nozzle for spraying the specified volume of water over its upper face from a specified height. The test specimen is held in a circular wooden frame, which is fitted over the inclined plane over three brass pegs for locating the specimen holder.
The spray nozzle is made from brass and is fixed at the lower end of a plastic funnel. It is held in a bracket vertically above the center of the test specimen. The height of the center of the nozzle is 150 mm above the centre point of the test specimen. The apparatus is kept inside a plastic tray, which collects the sprayed water.
The various components are made from brass and plastics to give them a corrosion resistant finish.
