Footwear Testing Equipments

The Footwear Testing Equipments are primarily used for the testing of flexibility, color, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, penetration resistance and other such factors of the footwear. Using these equipment is highly efficient for improving the quality of footwear. These types of testing equipment are helpful for the determination of mechanical as well as physical performance of the footwear products. The testing of the products is carried out during the manufacturing process and also after it is completed. All in all, by using the Footwear Testing Equipments, one can easily get the accurate analysis of the footwear in terms of quality.

The Bennewart Flex Tester is used to evaluate the flexing/fatigue resistance and cut-growth behaviour of footwear outsoles, elastomers, rubber, soles and other flexible materials when repeatedly bent. It essentially simulates the repeated flexing that a shoe sole or rubber component will undergo during use, and measures how cracks grow or cuts propagate in the material. For example, the standard method SATRA TM161 defines this test for footwear outsoles.
